Prevention Heart Labs is dedicated to evaluating the etiology of atherolscrosis in a particular patient with a focus on preventing progression and causing regression. We do this through genetic and environmental evaluations having to do with the etiology and therefore the treatment of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), where we try to prevent progression of the disease or cause regression of the disease of the atherosclerotic plaque.

Nearly all cardiovascular specialists are in agreement that atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) is not a disease of aging, but once it occurs in an individual, there is a strong tendency for it to progress unless the process is interrupted. Furthermore, almost all cardiovascular physicians concur that atherosclerotic plaque may progress through recurrent plaque erupture/erosion with secondary clot formation playing an important role.

Our object is to not only find out what the cause of a patient’s poor heart health is through comprehensive testing, but focus them on a treatment program as well that maximizes efforts to cause
